About a month ago, I decided to join my sister at a Bikram Yoga class. Well after a night of drinking and very little sleep, Bikram was probably not the best activity of choice. I barely survived the class and didn't want to ever think about it again. I was scared and didn't take into consideration that it was probably the fact I was dehydrated that I didn't feel so well. A month later, I finally got the courage to try it again. This time I ensured I was fully rested and had enough to water to drink, about 40 oz within 2-3 hours prior to the class. I had a light breakfast and slept a good 10 hours:)
The experience was night and day. Last time, I was on the floor just wishing for the class to be over, whilst this time, I was actually able to complete all the move and felt amazingly refreshed afterwards.
This just proves that you should never give up at trying for something new. If the first time or even second time you fail, just get back up and try again. It also help to have the motivation of others around you, like a sister :)
