Today was an extremely long day. You are going to come across days where all you want to do is lay in bed, or on the couch catching up on your favorite shows. Today was one of those days. Maybe you need rest, maybe you don't. My body wasn't tired, but my mind was. I tried to make excuses NoT to workout and I couldn't think of any. Even though work exhausted me, so much that I was not in the mood to work out, I reminded myself why I was working out in the first place. I imagined myself in a healthier state, in a better mood, and more energized. Those are some of my long term goals. I want to be able to get up every morning with energy to take on the world. I know it takes hard work and it's not going to happen overnight, that's why I keep going.
In the mean time, I know my workouts make me feeling proud and accomplished, which is one of my short term goals. Feeling happy, feeling good about my body, knowing I gave it all my best...On that note, here's the perfect quote to keep you motivated and get your over that hump :)
